Mike has more than 20 years of business development leadership experience crossing the cyber, intel, space and civil space sectors. Prior to Star Lab, Mike spent nearly nine years in corporate business development at Raytheon Company.

Prior to Raytheon, Mike led business development at offensive and defensive cyber security company Crucial Security, Inc., including the year following the company’s acquisition by Harris Corporation. He was also founder and CEO of Fed 5 Corporation, a federal sales and marketing company supporting clients with sales and marketing planning, process and execution.

Mike is on the board of the National Space Club, a STEM-focused non-profit that orchestrates the Goddard Memorial Dinner. He has held influential industry leadership roles that include Chair of the Aerospace Industries Association Space Council and co-founder of the Coalition for Aerospace and Science.

Mike holds a master’s degree in business administration from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
