Star Lab opens new office in Huntsville, AL

Star Lab, a leading provider of embedded security solutions for complex systems, announced today that it has opened an office in Huntsville, AL.

Opening the new office, it’s second in the United States, demonstrates Star Lab’s exponential growth potential. With a current need for a dozen highly-skilled operating system kernel & hypervisor developers, this move will help the company find quality employees, at rates much lower than those found in traditional technology hubs – developers that can help the company complete its two early stage products; Linux Unprivileged Root Environment (LURE) and Crucible.

According to the city’s business website “the Huntsville community is recognized nationally by Inc. magazine, Forbes and the Wall Street Journal as one of America’s leading technology communities. Local and state leaders provide strong support for business growth including fostering a strong education system, a high quality of life, low costs of living and doing business and the infrastructure needed for companies to attract workers and be successful. With the highest concentration of engineers and technology workers in the country, Huntsville continues to be the preferred location for America’s best and brightest.”

Irby Thompson, Star Lab’s President/CEO, added that “very few locations in the United States offer such a talented pool of potential employees at a reasonable cost. In fact, Huntsville is home to Cummings Research park, the 2nd largest research park in the United States. Given the pro-business environment in Huntsville, and the State of Alabama, I am confident that our presence there will be instrumental to achieving our goals and objectives.”
